UTRIP is a fully funded summer internship in Japan designed for international undergraduate students in natural sciences. Participants will gain hands-on research experience under the mentorship of renowned faculty at the Graduate School of Science (GSS) at UTokyo.

🔆 Eligibility Criteria
To apply, candidates must:
✅ Have completed at least one full year of a bachelor’s degree by the time of application.
✅ Be currently enrolled in a bachelor’s program or integrated bachelor’s-master’s program outside Japan.
✅ Major in natural sciences or a related field.
✅ Have a strong interest in a long-term career in science.
✅ Be available full-time for the entire six-week program duration.
✅ Provide proof of health insurance valid during the internship period.
✅ Submit TOEFL or equivalent English proficiency scores (if applicable).

✅ Fully engage in the assigned research project.
✅ Attend all scheduled academic and social events.
✅ Submit a written research report within two weeks of program completion.
✅ Deliver an oral presentation on the designated date.
✅ Complete all required procedures by specified deadlines.
