The METI AI and Tech Talent Internship 2025 is a fully funded program offered by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) of Japan. Aimed at students passionate about Information Technology and Artificial Intelligence. Interns will gain hands-on experience in Japanese companies, improving their technical and cross-cultural communication skills. Includes a pre-application online seminar providing details and answering questions about the internship. Duration of internship: 1.5 months (October 31 to December 15, 2025).

🔆 Eligibility Criteria
✅ Must be a citizen of an ODA recipient country (excluding the People’s Republic of China)
✅ Must reside outside of Japan at the time of application
✅ Must have graduated or be graduating soon from a university
✅ Must have good English communication skills
✅ Must not possess JLPT N5 or higher Japanese proficiency
✅ Must be available for internship training and activities in Japan
✅ Must meet any additional criteria specified by host companies
✅ Must be able to support the global expansion of Japanese businesses
