🔆 Eligibility Criteria
✅ Applicants must not hold Chinese citizenship.
✅ Must be proficient in English or Chinese.
✅ For Master’s: born after January 1, 1996.
✅ For PhD: born after January 1, 1991.
✅ Must meet admission criteria for international students of USTC/UCAS.
✅ Cannot hold other assignments during the scholarship period.
✅ Students already enrolled in a Master’s or PhD in China are not eligible.
✅ Awardees must complete training in Chinese language, culture, and required credits.
✅ Awardees must complete research and thesis at USTC/UCAS or CAS institutes.
✅ Candidates can apply for either USTC or UCAS, not both.
