🔆 Eligibility Requirements

✅ Must be a citizen of a Chevening-eligible country or territory
✅ Return to your home country for at least two years after the scholarship
✅ Apply for a full-time master’s course (12 months)
✅ Hold an undergraduate degree equivalent to a UK upper second-class 2:1 honours degree
✅ Apply to three different eligible UK university courses
✅ Receive an unconditional offer from at least one course
✅ Minimum two years (2,800 hours) of work experience
✅ Not hold British citizenship (except for British Overseas Territories citizens applying from Hong Kong)
✅ Applicants with refugee status must be from a Chevening-eligible country
✅ Cannot be current/former employees or relatives of UK government/FCDO staff
✅ Employees of partner organizations can apply but not for awards from their own organizations
✅ Cannot apply if already receiving UK government-funded scholarships

✅ Apply online via the Chevening Online Application System (OAS)
✅ Use a laptop or PC with Google Chrome (mobile not recommended)
✅ Apply to three different eligible master’s programs at UK universities
✅ Upload required documents in JPG, PNG, or PDF (under 5MB, file names under 50 characters)
✅ Submit the application in English
✅ Do not use browser forward/back buttons during the application
✅ Application includes four mandatory essay questions (100–500 words each)
✅ Save progress manually – autosave is not available
✅ You can log out and return later with your username and password
✅ Only three attempts allowed to pass the eligibility pre-screen
✅ Only one application is allowed per year
✅ Submit two reference letters (referees should be reachable for verification)
