The ICYF International Media Training Camp 2026 is an international youth training opportunity organized by the Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum (ICYF) in cooperation with the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Türkiye, and in partnership with TRT Journalism for Juniors (J4J) and FOKUS PLUS.

The camp will bring together young participants from OIC Member States and Muslim communities worldwide to develop skills in journalism, digital media, research, storytelling, and responsible media practices.

Program Details

Location: Antalya Alaaddin Keykubat Youth Camp, Antalya, Türkiye

Young Men Camp: 16–21 October 2026

Young Women Camp: 28 October–2 November 2026

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must:

Be between 18 and 25 years old

Be a citizen of an OIC Member State or a member of a Muslim community in a non-OIC country

Have proficiency in English

Demonstrate an interest in media, research, storytelling, or community engagement

Have not participated in the ICYF Media Camp during the previous year

Selection Process

Applications will be evaluated by the Selection Committee based on eligibility and selection criteria.

Selection will consider motivation, leadership potential, creativity, commitment to social impact, and balanced regional representation.

Applicants may be invited to an online interview if the committee requires additional information.

Only selected participants will receive an official acceptance email with programme details.

The final selection announcement will also be shared through ICYF’s website and social media channels.

Costs & Funding

International participants: Participants are responsible for their international travel costs initially. ICYF will reimburse international travel expenses up to $250 USD.

Participants living in Türkiye: Domestic travel expenses are initially covered by the participant, with reimbursement of up to 3,500 TL.

Airport/Bus Station Transfers: Local transfers will be arranged and covered by the host organizer.

Accommodation: Covered by the host organizers.

Food: Covered by the host organizers.

City Tour: Covered by the host organizers.

Important: Priority will be given to participants who are able to cover their flight tickets.

Visa

Obtaining a Turkish visa and paying the visa fee is the participant’s responsibility.

ICYF can provide an invitation letter upon request to support the visa application.

Certificate

Participants who complete and fully attend the camp will receive a Certificate of Participation jointly issued by ICYF and its programme partners.
