🔆 Benefits of the KAUST Fellowship
✅ Full tuition and bench fee coverage (worth up to USD $35,000 per year).
✅ Monthly stipend:

  • USD $20,000 per year for M.S. students.
  • USD $25,000 to $30,000 per year for Ph.D. students (based on qualifications and academic progress).
    ✅ On-campus housing (worth USD $7,000 per year, including utilities such as electricity and Wi-Fi).
    ✅ Health insurance (worth USD $1,450 per year).
    ✅ Relocation support, including visa, relocation, and travel costs.

Total Value: Between USD $70,000 and $80,000 annually, depending on individual circumstances.

Notes:

  • Additional charges may apply for students bringing spouses or dependents.
  • Relocation assistance is provided only for the initial move to KAUST and return after graduation.

✅ Application process steps:

  1. Submit Your Application: Log in to the portal and complete your application before the deadline.
  2. Admission Review: Admissions team checks your documents. Missing items will be flagged for correction.
  3. Faculty Review: Applications are reviewed and ranked. Top candidates are shortlisted.
  4. Interview/Test: Selected applicants are invited for an online interview with KAUST faculty.
  5. Decision: Final results are communicated via email within the admission timeline.

🔆 Minimum Entry Requirements
For M.S. Programs: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject from a recognized institution.
For Ph.D. Programs: Master’s degree in a relevant subject from a recognized institution (professional master’s degrees may not qualify).
✅ Minimum GPA:

  • Competitive GPA (typically above 3.3 on a 4.0 scale).
  • Minimum permitted GPA: 3.0.
    ✅ Evidence of English proficiency.
