Applications for the Kyoto University Amgen Scholars Program 2026 in Japan are now open. The program begins on June 5, 2026, and runs for 8 weeks in Kyoto, Japan. Participants will receive a scholarship amount of 180,000 Yen, accommodation, and covered travel expenses.

During the program, students will conduct full-time research under Kyoto University faculty supervision, attend seminars, laboratory visits, and the Amgen Scholars Asia Symposium in Tokyo. 🔆 Eligibility Criteria
✅ Open to students from universities across Asia (Eastern, South-Eastern, Central, Southern, and Western Asia).
✅ Applicants must be current undergraduate students enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Asia.
✅ Must have completed at least one year of undergraduate study before the program begins.
✅ Applicants must not graduate before the program starts.
✅ Must continue their undergraduate studies for at least one semester or quarter after completing the summer program.
✅ Excellent academic record required.
✅ Strong English language skills are essential.
✅ Applicants should have an interest in pursuing a Ph.D. in the future.
