Vienna Biocenter Summer School 2026 is a fully funded, research-focused program in Austria. This 3-month summer research experience allows talented students to work in top European labs under world-renowned mentors. The program provides an innovative scientific environment for students passionate about life sciences and modern research technologies.

Students learn advanced laboratory skills, use cutting-edge equipment, and work on diverse research projects across leading fields such as molecular biology, neuroscience, immunology, bioinformatics, RNA, stem cells, and more. The program also includes journal clubs, lab meetings, social events, and cultural exposure to European academic life.

🔆 Eligibility Criteria
✅ Open to all genders and nationalities
✅ Must have completed at least 2 years of university studies by June 30
✅ Eligible if you meet one of the following:

• Currently in 3rd year of a 4-year BA/BSc (Hons) Life Science program

• In 4th year of a 4-year BA/BSc (Hons) and planning to apply for a Master’s

• In 1st year of a 2-year MSc Life Science program

• In 2nd year of a US 4-year Bachelor’s (Life Sciences)

• In 2nd year of a 4-year BTech Life Sciences (India)

  ✅ Strong academic record required
  ✅ English proficiency required
  ✅ Must have 3 months of research experience or laboratory training
